 If you’re staying during the month of August and are looking for a festive event that is rich in Appalachian Heritage then you have to attend the 16th Annual Franklin Folk Festival, “A Celebration of Appalachian Heritage,” in Franklin, NC. The festival will take place on Saturday, August 21, 2021 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and will be hosted by the Cowee School Arts & Heritage Center. Plus, this event is FREE!

 

What Happens at the Folk Festival?

The main goal of the main activities is to show how life was like in the past and educate visitors about the history of the area.
